Why are you not out creating the next Amazon?
yes they are overpaid. no - most people are not bitter, more just indifferent to the entitlement.
None of these Executives 'built' these companies, nor the assets, nor even had that fortitude to create a business for themselves - they are book smart management graduates that get appointed by shareholders.
If any of these people so called godly CEO's, or executives had to start their own business from scratch, I'm pretty sure they would not be as successful.
Please stop deifying these people. Yes they are overpaid - unless you can tell me why they are justified in receiving this compensation. What type of expertise/knowledge are they providing that can't be found in a text, or via ChatGPT?

I’m surprised a few others haven’t left already. Supposedly there was quite a bit of bitterness in the ELT that GE got the top job.
