Why is there a senior sales director with an additional 3-4 directors under them in some segments? Too many hands in the pot.

Why are there so many sales directors?
Because we have incompetent people in charge.
Some people believe the Director to rep ratio should be around 8:1, so with hypothetically 120 reps that's 15 sales Directors and probably 8 engineering and dotted lined specialist directors across regions, so they'll have 4 sr directors manage 5ish Directors in each region and report up to the VP instead of 20+ reporting to the VP + dotted line channel and marketing leadership.
Okay, but is anyone going to answer why there are so many sales leaders? Genuinely curious.
Marketing is the same a Sales, too many ststaus quo managers and very few real leaders.
Never forget how I worked with a marketing department that had 12 ! staff and several VPs and all they did was working on INTERNAL cr-p ...
And the one I worked with was as useless as peanut butter on Lego
No worries, judgement day is coming. Marketing is the same a Sales, too many ststaus quo managers and very few real leaders. This is exactly the issue Hock will rectify on day-1
They like to copy every single person on a bunch of different teams. I even seen one genius send outna meeting invite to a DL.
They run it like a mean girl club too 😆. No one can do any wrong. Every other department though? Yeah, they're the problem. If you don't cave into our demands you can't sit with us.
Most of them are clueless too.
They will lose their jobs when BC takes control. As will many other VM employees
