The Catawba County Board of Commissioners recently voted to award up to $1.4 million in incentives to support the expansion of fiber optic cable maker CommScope.

Incentives will take the form of tax refunds over the course of six years. To receive the incentives, CommScope will have to invest $60.3 million and create 250 jobs by the end of 2027. The jobs will pay an average wage of a little more than $57,300.

The company is also set to receive up to $1.9 million in state incentives over the next 12 years to support the expansion. CommScope announced the expansion project in March.

They are not paying them money each year when the investment and jobs have to be created by 2027. What if they don’t? You can’t trust CS to follow through.

Wonder who actually pays the 1.4 million? Taxpayers!? They don’t just magically sht out 1.4 million. Piece of sht company because it’s now being ran by piece of sht people.

This is how Carlyle and CommScope operate. Carlyle buys companies to tear them apart and get government handouts (your tax dollars support this theft!). They buy a company, install their stable boys, and destroy the company and jobs.

The investment and jobs do not have to be completed until 2027 after all the debt is due. Lol
