Thread regarding Dish Network layoffs

>>>Don't Forget To Cancel Dish Satellite TV & Boost Mobile Servives When Laid Off<<<

Don't forget to cancel your Dish Satellite TV and Boost Mobile services if you're impacted by Dish layoffs.

Remember you will no longer receive the employee discount and Dish will start to bill you their full retail price immediately with your next billing cycle. Dish's TV and phone services are way overpriced for what you get and there are better values (i.e., higher quality service & better price) with other companies (i.e., streaming, cellular).

Here's "How to Cancel" your Dish & Boost Mobile service:

I did immediately after I was laid off in 2020, then waited a couple weeks while I had Internet from Comcast before I cancelled the "Dishnet" DSL (actually provided by CenturyLink). Comcast is another evil in itself, but I was willing to deal with them for a while rather than feed money to Charlie.
