There is no communication from management. We have employees with 20-30-40 + years that has been loyal to this company through thick and thin. And newer employees with not that much time concerned about being layed off. We all have bills ,we all families that depend on our income. They can’t even update us or just say , things are bad right now if we all work together we can get through this . They could care less. Step up management do your job , be the leader your getting paid to be!!!

The more people leave, the cheaper they re hire… quality of workers is really low right now.
There is a rule in IT that commscope calls 2x1.
If you fill positions in India, you get 2 workers. If you fill it in the US, you get 1.
Of course, the 2x1, brings some of the worst quality workers to the company.
Is that even legal?
The longer they keep uncertainty alive the more ppl will leave. The more ppl leave the more they save on severance and end up looking better by not having a layoff
What do you expect the top saying that could feel better from their lie?! Who is going to believe all ok?! Stock top $40 and now $3, expected back to $40?! Those layoff or leaving, do you think a good sign?! Cut benefits and close facilities are helping us?! Was 1B company and now 30% off with same load on 10B debt yoy, good progress?! The top has golden parachute, you don't. It is time to find a new job, do not expected too much on this sinking ship.

It’s a pos company now. Been there 43 years and never regretted a minute of being with the company until the last couple years. They don’t give a dam- about the employees anymore.
The answer to why this doesn't happen is obvious in my opinion. They don't give a shiz about you. The more people they can get to leave on their own, the more they save with severance. The more they save in severance, the more they can give themselves bonuses and stock awards by keeping this sinking ship floating. Keep in mind, severance is a benefit that they aren't required to give you. Just like the 401k bonus....oh wait. They took that away. Get a plan before you need one. There's no sense of loyalty on their end.
