I hope morale improves with todays announcement from the CIO.

Word out of the command center is that GW is going to evaluate and only make changes towards the end of the FY. VP level shakeup, maybe pull back on some high dollar projects, but not much change from director on down. Other changes will take couple years to do. Needs to re-build tech services team that AJ destroyed.
What's everyone talking about? KB is "retiring".
Kroger guys will be out in 6 months.
Hopefully the subpar worthless VPs and Directors that Kirk brought with him will eventually leave or be shown the door. They don’t represent what Giant Eagle really is.

It's so sad
The low morale started when they pushed Ross out and Anuj came barging in.
Then came Tata. Carryer was a vast improvement and at least he understood the work coming up through the ranks. It's a shame - so much unappreciated talent.
Going to take a lot more than just cutting the head off of the snake to cure IT at Giant Eagle. The low morale didn't start when Kirk arrived and won't be cured when he leaves. The company has a history of not valueing IT and lays off from that dept first. Don't believe me? Just ask current and ex employees.
Oh god...I just saw that Kirk is the CIO now...doesn't matter what he said in the announcement, you cannot trust him as far as you can throw him. Dude is a sho-ter of the highest order.
