Directors/Sr Directors will be asked to give names among their subordinates. And then VPs will decide the Dir/Sr Dirs to be let go. SVP level and above decides about whole business units. Atleast this is how it happened during the last big layoffs I remember.

They swab everyone's lips for other people's DNA. If there is a lot of Director, Sr. Director and VP DNA on your lips from kissing their a--, then you are safe for this round of layoffs. You are safe from the 2024 layoffs if Sr. VP DNA is detected
