Does anyone know where to find the separation date?

Received a letter in the mail yesterday. Letter is dated 8/18. Envelope was postmarked 8/22. The separation date referred to as "Termination Date" in the letter is in the letter. Check your mail.
I got the letter in the mail that said 11/18
