In tech they definitely targeted 40+ and tenure. They sprinkled some younger people in there to be able to fight any age discrimination lawsuits that might come their way.
Yes, and worse, they cut a few people in the tech development program. You know, the program for people right out of college. College students talk about companies and programs a lot… this is going to shoot attracting young talent in the foot.
29 yo, 2 years with the company. laid off. it'll su-k for all people that are left, i am ready to move on.
it does feel that a lot of older people got cut

I’m over 40 and was bullied by upper management. So I know why I was let go. I was targeted. I was paid low wages though.

I’m over 40 but I make nothing. I would think people actually making money would be let go before me. Nothing makes sense.
