A couple of days ago a Qualcomm old timer, VP of marketing, posted a farewell message on LinkedIn. I wonder if he is one of the first ones to be notified. Kind of makes sense since his last day will be in late October right after RSU vesting. Anyone heard of any one else getting notifications?

No notifications now. Most likely in 8 weeks.
Would recommend taking personal items home at the start of October if you think you might be impacted. Save yourself the trouble after getting the package.

No, this is what happens when companies start pushing layoffs, but people at the top flee because they can see the ship is going down and they don’t want to deal with the aftermath. Others have left on their own as well due to the uncertainty.
VP of Marketing is a wise human .... not waiting around to find out if the ship is going stink or continue to float aimlessly.
His last day already passed. It is not end of October. Shouldn't post what you don't know.
This was not due to RIF. Took another position. Has nothing to do with the layoffs.
