They are working on the same field for many years, their skills are limited, not diversified, they are more like technicians. Hard to find another job. Even if they find a job, hard to survive over there.

OP: Obviously, you yourself are a technician. Stop complaining and go get an engineering degree from an ABET accredited program!!
Looking at your diction and basic grasp of English, it is clear that you are a mediocre technician as well. When they eventually fire your a--, you can apply for the role of a bagger at your neighboring grocery store. Competition will be tough for you.
