Unionize, please. Unions are ridiculous and useless. Our local Rep is a rotund blow heart that hasn't seen real work in years since sitting on the board. All he does is bad mouth everyone he's supposed to represent. You don't need a Union to effect change and certain do not need someone like our local Rep to be the on the front line. If you want to walk out, then do it. If you want to make a statement, then do it. Don't talk about, don't wish about it, do something then.

You guys are just getting su-ked into the negative spiral now. Very easy to get into this, change is difficult and we have a lot of it. I urge you to focus on what you can do to improve your life and the life of your family. Is that providing more value to the company (or another company) by pointing out solutions to problems or just blaming every issue on something else?

Corruption? What are you smoking? It’s capitalism. Don’t su-k. Get promoted. You cry because you do your same thing day in and day out. Barely putting forth any effort and expect to be treated like a rockstar. When you go to the next place, try a little harder. Maybe you’ll be successful

Something to be a wake up call. Their vision is so narrowed to shareholder returns they are blind to what they're doing to the long-term sustainability of the enterprise.

This is corruption manifest. A corrupt enterprise is one where the outcomes it achieves are in no way related to the outcomes of its managers.

In Russia Putin gets his 10 billion dollar palace and in Hill Country Texas Garland has his 800 acre palacia estate in much the same way. Money that could have been invested in the future, in employees, in communities is pilfered away for their own enrichment.

They want to be the next aristocracy and that is antithetical to the founding of this country

Seems silly and would just lead to a speed up in transition.

If the problem is tone deaf managment who are in an unshakable ivory tower, you have to wonder what in God’s name will wake them up?

Is this the alarm that would resonate to those “big-wigs”?

A walkout/nowork/shutdown for a day? For a week?

It’s amazing how accountable UPS is to those employees. Those employees only have power through their solidarity. The question is, how upset are you? Will you wait until you get the meeting notice and a small payout to try to train a very nice person in India? If you wait, like a cow to the sla-ghter, will you wonder if there was more you could do?
