When I was running downhole test tools, I went on at least two out of district, must have, hurry, hurry jobs out of district, and wound up spending days sitting in the motel room, or driving around sightseeing, while waiting for the job to call in.
Even before that, our frac crew was on a job over by Yorktown, TX, and we were living in a motel in Victoria, the job kept getting pushed back, which meant more evenings spent drinking very potent Tequila Sunrises at the motel bar.
