The muted clapping by customers in the audience really shows their disappointment

They had one job … failed it, but still got their boondoggle.

Next year’s keynote will be even more disappointing as there won’t be any.

Enjoy the last event.

The crowd was quiet AF. Even Kit couldn’t wake them up. It’s over VMware.

If this event was intended to be the VMware 'Swan Song', then mission accomplished

Impressive, Boeing rapid deployment of SaaS VDI was successful, just like their 737 MAX launch. All crashes were addressed quickly

I'm smiling as Shankar Iyer talks about EUC innovation. This is a product line that should be on display in the Smithsonian. Perhaps VDI was innovative 2 decades ago, but today its too complex and expensive, when compared to the SaaS startup alternatives.

Their teeth are stained and they boil their meat. That doesn't sound like culture to me

God I truly hope Explore EMEA is better. Usually is as the Europeans have culture.

Even the normally dashing Dim-Wit was such a bore. They're thinking about that party boat they will rent in some riviera some where and toast their own version of Ocean's-Twelve. Money in the bank!

A security SysAdmin demo presented in detail should not be part of a keynote. These sessions should be reserved for thought provoking presentations. "We are happy to announce, blah blah blah"

"To be fair, I'm thinking few presenters are enthusiastic about participating at Explore."

Many at the VP and Director level will be first to lose their job, and they know it...

None of them have a presence! Who hired these clowns!?

Abilities to influence and connect with audiences like this is a key part of this leadership role. We fail miserably at this. Might not have another Explore after Hoc sees the bill for this show.

To be fair, I'm thinking few presenters are enthusiastic about participating at Explore. This event will go down in VMW history as the moment that defined the beginning of the end.

Who really cares about what anyone says at this event anymore? Certainly not customers

oh jeez. The energy level continues to drop with the Accelerate Journey to Cloud keynote with Krish. I am reminded of the moment with Jeb Bush where he actually had to ask people to clap.

You think! The only interesting thing there was the NVIDIA guy. That was awkward and just poorly done. 1/5 stars

When you are talking to your customers, they really don't want to hear from lawyers or hear jokes about quotas and who the best sales person is.

But Jensen Huang is not a VMware employee. He makes Nvidia look good, not us. Was surprised that even Amy Oli stumbled and she mistimed her entry. I love VMware and it makes me sad to see this display.
