5000 positions eliminated doesn’t always mean 5000 actual people terminated.
Can eliminate positions held by contractors and/or unfilled positions.
No they have not. It is to occur over the next several weeks. I believe it is over in certain departments. But it certainly isn’t over. We have not reached the 5000 threshold. Read the Karen email again.
Each states has separate rules on warn notices. Not all states require a warn notice and some states did not reach the threshold to report. I don’t know why people are so obsessed with trying to figure out how many have been let go. They have reached the 5000 number.
