Almost the end of the day and still haven't been told which side I'm going to. As a generalist we were told we would find out today and still haven't heard a word. Anyone else hear anything?

Not surprised at all nobody knows, the lack of keeping people informed should show everyone that all is not well, if they had all good news, people would be hearing it. Managers are going to have to be the bad guys, would hate to have that job, people will despise them.
...somehow we're still on track (according to management) to operate as two separate companies 8-9 business days from now even though only a small number of people have been officially told their company assignment and quite a lot of critical infrastructure can at best be described as "a work in progress".
Even the company brandings are still being developed, and neither Atleos nor Voyix even have websites at this point.
