I think we are assuming too much on the WARN notice and creating more chaos , adding more stress to others. Company played smart with this first round. They informed all impacted colleagues on 14&15th and most of the folks last termination date is 10/21. . And filed WARN notices with respective states on 18th indicating the same. That is what clearly written in the notices i have read.
If you have all the information and know what is true and what isn't, why are you on this site for those that have been layed off? Your smug post belies the truth that your beloved leaders are not sharing information or more likely, are lying to you.
To the person telling laid off people to move on because you’re not wanted. That is cruel and so untrue! They laid off high performers. There were no rational sound decisions made. Stop thinking you are so dam special cause your not especially after posting such an insensitive post.
I've never seen so much really bad reading comprehension. The Scottsdale warn report from Friday states clearly, the group reported on August 18th in Scottsdale is part of the previously reported 5000 job cuts already reported . I know laid off people are hurt and want everyone else to hurt just like them. Why me and not you? There is no reason. It's just business. Take your severance and move on. This chapter is closing, Time to begin a new chapter. You don't really want to stay where you're not wanted. Move on. All companies are doing lay offs this year. Google, amazon. meta, everyone. It's simply business in a really shaky economy.

Please for the love of god stop scaring people. 1.) Servics Ops is much much more than just call centers and customer service, so what you are saying makes no sense. 2.) It’s not even true for call centers. Service Ops is done laying off for now as of Wednesday. An email even went out saying this. I don’t know if you are misinformed, or are just trying to rile up people, but please stop.

WARN notices could also include remote employees that report into a leader where the WARN is issued. It says it on the CT notice.
Wrong. It says an additional 138 in Scottsdale will be impacted
Also untrue, it says the 100 in scottsdale are part of the 500.
Google Scottsdale AZ also has a new ward notice is addition to CT. That means more layoffs totalling over 500 for each state. It says in addition to the layoffs. More is coming unfortunately
What departments are Service Ops?
That is not what it says. The 520 employees at aetna in Conneticutt are part of the 5000 as clearly stated in the article. Reading comprehension is important

More rounds coming the initial amount was 5000 now more to come. All Service Ops is going to be eliminated in the US and offshored.
That would be my thoughts. My last day of employment is in Oct as well as those that I know that were affected.
Some people are saying that employers that were laid off this week are working until those dates in Oct/Nov/Dec. I think that means there are further rounds of layoffs upcoming. Guess we will see...
