Wow, so almost 10 out of 10 employees disapprove of our CEO.
Oh Magoo, you've done it again!
Its clear why they didn't want Sanjay...
Pat Gelsinger is now demonstrating how equally inept he is as the CEO of Intel.
Raghu was never intended to be a real CEO, just a temporary caretaker of the status quo
I often think TPTB (MD and friends) just installed him as a chair warmer, without worries about CEO aptitude because they already expected to sell us.
Funny, there are notorious CEOs who specialize in selling. If Michael Capellas would have appeared [Compaq CEO who sold them to HP, and then MCI-WorldCom CEO who sold them to Verizon] we would have known that VMware was headed for the auction block before long.
A poor performer indeed, but I agree that PG was the primary culprit of the majority of the company's current defects. Magoo is more of a bumbling idi-ought rather than some evil genius. I have worked under a CEO who was a supremely arrogant and self-aggrandizing narcissist, and that is a far worse experience than the Magoo echo chamber.
i would gladly be MD's puppet for 53 big ones
“ could quite possible be the worst CEO i have come across in 9 different software companies across 30 years, poor communication and personal presentation skills, sometimes cannot even read words on a teleprompter just unbelievable to me how someone can get this far with that skillset, can only think very well connected and networked.”
Nobody else wanted to be MD’s puppet.

I have come across few a__holes though but usually have solid communication skills and inspiring in someway.
“ Rahgu just inherited the mess.”
Everything you said was true except what I quoted.
Raghu was part of creating the mess he inherited. During all those years as CTO, he was responsible for the direction and execution of our product strategy, or lack thereof. Instead of real leadership, all we got were platitudes and condescending talk about the main thing and selling one product.
Pat didn’t insult my intelligence close to anything like MAGOO
If you all really think that it is Raghu's fault that the company is mismanaged, you are really gullible. It has been the fault of "uncle" Pat who really messed things up over the years. Rahgu just inherited the mess. And if you all think that M. D. hasn't had it fingers on this frackary and kept vmw by being mismanaged the way that benefited him the most, you also aren't really paying attention.
I wonder if he will auction off his wardrobe afterwards?
Abstaining because the only time I ever hear of his name is on here. He's forgettable in All Hands and emails, and he has no bearing on my work. But he's living rent-free in many people's heads.
