How long do you get your job salary after notification ?? I am assuming it's another 2 weeks before your severance pay start !!

They can walk you out immediately, but if the number of people let go is over the WARN threshold, then they must pay you for 60 days after they notify you.
2018 some were still around for many months, a few months ago seemed about two weeks. So ???
By law, I believe they must notify you 60 days before they stop paying you in California. That was the case earlier this year. People were notified and asked to leave ASAP in mid-May, but paid through mid-July. Severance pay was direct deposited a week ago.
