"As a result of this decision, employee terminations will be conducted beginning on October 21, 2023. These terminations will affect employees who work (and may also reside) in Connecticut, and also includes a significant number of employees who are outstationed (“remote”) employees who are not physically present in Connecticut but for work purposes report into a leader located in Connecticut. For WARN purposes, the remote employees only are treated as “assigned” to the Connecticut location. These remote workers have been aggregated with the local employee numbers, resulting in a layoff of more than 500 employees in the aggregate; however, only 306 positions that are being terminated are held by Connecticut residents. "

What a bunch of turds on here. These people have families and many are hard working and very knowledgeable in their roles.

To the Amazon troll. You are full of nonsense, and in the chance you are not you'll be on the street yourself in less than 6 months.

The separation date for most is 10/21. Essentially, they are told not to come to work but will be receiving a paycheck until then. I guess they don't want any problems with disgruntled individuals. Since most are management/leaders and tech, I'm surprised they had to have the police parked outside. It kinda feels like extreme distrust.

What I don’t understand is allegedly they also filed a WARN notice for the state of Florida? What corporate operations does CVS have in Florida??

It said all the impacted employees have been notified so this is already included in the 5k. I understand you guys got let go and feel anger toward the company but spreading wrong info does not help who that stay. We are also employees like you guys and it is not our faults you guys got let go
