If this 10 minute pre-recorded video is the only communication you have had regarding layoffs all this time, are you feeling safe now?

Looks like repeat of BS given by two disinterested heartless Digital SVP’s to the DIGITAL team. Nothing meaningful. Read from script. 10 Mins no Q&A.
Cowardly nonsense.
I distinctly heard that BAs, Scrum Masters and PMs would be impacted as they are planning to go from a project based model to a product based model. Gee that made the PMO members on there feel warm and fuzzy.
video was lame and totally not professional. The worst approach I've ever seen by a company....Pre-recorded so they didn't have to face anyone. Not to mention getting meeting invite after the meeting already started....
"if this doesn't calm down soon" is your answer and you know what the answer is this not over and the wrath of He-l is coming down to everyone. Got your choice deal with constant your the problem or leave. Didn't they get rid of Mental Health?
And there was the whole " in the coming weeks" phrase again. I mean, really just give a time frame like, in the next 2-3 weeks. Seriously. I'm over this. Yes, I feel bad for those who were laid off.. I've been there, and feel your pain, but the way this was handled was so unprofessional. All people on my team have been notified, but I am seriously considering looking for a new job. Thankfully I have updated my resume. As much as I would hate to leave my colleagues whom I greatly respect and admire, it might be the best option if this doesn't calm down soon.
Mainly said a lot of NOTHING and only one reference to "lean in." Not sure why I was hoping for a more meaningful "meeting" but once again, another executive so out of touch with what really is going on. My sense is CVS is hoping that if they pi-s off enough people, that they will leave through natural attrition and not have to be considered for future layoff expenses.
10 minutes of buzz words.
What was his whole statement around product owners, product managers, scrum Masters?
So inspiring! “Software driven engineering”, “transformative healthcare through technology”.
No, especially because he keeps saying “for those that are affected, some of which may be on this call blah blah blah”.
