Literally every department will be decimated. 90% of PXD employees will be looking for new jobs.

Land staff and Accounting will be hit the hardest.
There won’t be many Pioneer mangers at XOM for long. All XTO mangers were either pushed to retire or demoted.
There are less than 15 original XTO geologists left out of 80 since they were bought in 2010. All have been replaced by XOM geos who have never drilled a well and can’t make a decision without studying something for a year. Pioneer and the old XTO run circles around XOM. “XTO” geologist are currently a little understaffed. I imagine a few Pioneer geos will be offered a job.
Geos will get slammed the hardest most likely.
How many managers currently? That’s the minimum figure.
XTO already has quite a large geo staff….
