Do you think rather than lay certain employees off, they redeploy employees in hopes that we will resign the way you just did? Most people would Never have applied on their own for some of the positions that they are placing people in.

I was redeployed and I found another job so I am leaving this week. I hated my new role … idk how they even matched us up with these new positions

Severance was never an option. It was either take the redeployment or you are rendering your termination with the company.

I was and I hate every thing about my new role. Wish I would have taken the severance. This company cares nothing about employee satisfaction. Their bottom line is all that matters.

Can't get redeployed when they made you a 2 in prep to be laid off. Can't apply for a job when you have a current 2 rating. And, by the way, was never put on a CAP for a chance to "improve" back to a 3. but this is corporate way, not just Optum.
