Moving jobs offshore

If you are in the US, I would not count on your job here to be long term, the company is very focused on moving jobs to India and other low cost centers.

Yes there is an hierarchy when it comes to the feeding trough ($$$$). The executives and upper management have preferential spots at the trough.

Yet none of the executives or upper management realize they are the biggest expense. Fat cats always feed themselves first.

Its called labor arbitrage. Depending on the executive leadership within the company some view functional roles as a commodity and thus seek to minimize the cost via offshoring and offshoring.
