Thread regarding Boeing Co. layoffs

Cost of living adjustment (COLA)

Wouldn't it be feasible to ask for a (COLA)? Inflation has run rampant in the past few years.

Really depends on what location you work for Boeing. In many locations such as the NW their is a priority to eliminate your job instead of providing incentives to keep you around. In the meantime, be happy to have a job to complain about. Now back to my internet.

I feel sorry for anyone who needs Boeing or a union. Far more money and control of your life doing you own thing.

You don't get a separate cost of living adjustment. You signed a contract, sometimes it works to your benefit, sometimes it doesn't.

It's part of being in a union

I think Boeing gave out COLAs in the early 90s. Correct about inflation, with the job report out today, the feds will likely raise interest rates again Oct 31. I feel bad for first time home buyers.
