Why would he retire or resign? he has a company funded London apartment, probaby getting paid $100K a month plus benefits as long as he can hang on. And he will hang on because he is being ptotected by someone in Permira - someone he went to college with, an old buddy. I am sure you can work out who... RL - first name rhymes with Bryan and second name rhyms with a cockney saying 'panther'.
Fact is he is enjoying his time at YOUR expense and all the while being mollycoddled by his college buddy...
