Next shareholders conference call? Last year's November call was November 7. The later the call, the more time Chip needs for creative accounting and crafting a better story. I saw this with EDMC (Art Institutes, Argosy, South University) in 2014, COCO (Corinthian Colleges: Everest, Heald, and Wyotech) in 2015, ESI (ITT Tech) in 2016. The break up of COCO and EDMC resulted in new ownership--with help from the government. Neither worked out well. 2U Board member Jack Larson would know all about this history because he was with Career Education Corporation (now called Perdoceo), a subprime college company that's still in business despite shutting down several brands (Brooks College, Sanford-Brown, Le Cordon Bleu, Harrington School of Design).
