Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Will Hagerstown close?

When I started at OFD the Hagerstown site was a hub with three buildings and well over 2000 employees. Now we're pretty much down to one building maybe 800 or less in office (call center jobs are at home) and now called a "strategic location" constantly told of all the "upgrades" they will be doing but it never happens or is half assed. Just seem like a dying location as I'm sure Maryland is not giving a tax break. Anyone hear anything?

Hagerstown will be closed after Wells ends their merchant relationship and the buildings are reduced to a about 250-300 staff.

Alpharetta is not a tax-supported site - which is why it is believed it will close at some point. The issue is Fiserv signed a long lease on what was originally 2 buildings - and it probably contains a big penalty for early termination. So reality is that they will still be in Alpharetta for a while.

Coral Springs is a dump. Not a penny invested in years. Picture the cafeteria with ancient CRT tv sets that haven’t worked in years. Slop served in the cafeteria with over inflated prices. Better off selling the buildings, taking the profit from the sale and investing it in other ways. RTO su-ks! How can we be secondary to Hagerstown?

Some time ago, somebody posted a 100% sure and verified fact that the Alpharetta campus will close. Eh, yeah. Believe when it happens, prepare in case it does, laugh when it does and smile with a new paycheck.

If it's not part of a tax incentive package, I wouldn't look for it to stay open too long.

You already know the answer. The question you should be asking is WHEN is Hagerstown is closing?

Hagerstown is a secondary site to Coral Springs. People on this forum spectate it’ll close within the next 2-3 years, but nothing has been confirmed yet.

The Hagerstown site consists of 2 buildings. One of which was closed last year. I can’t imagine the company is profiting from owning the real estate with 800 or less associate in 1 of 2 buildings.

Doesn't appear Hagerstown is going anywhere. Are they forcing relocation to BH hence the low headcount?
