Wed Meetings

So, any meetings being scheduled for Wed next week? I know 2 directors having meetings with their teams on Oct 11th. Coincidence? I dont think so.

If you're going to be invited to a layoff meeting it won't be scheduled ahead of time. It will be in real time .

Some meetings are just meetings. Anything being scheduled this far out is probably a chance to get the group together and talk about how you’re all going to move forward, and priorities.

The meetings that show up morning of, or early morning ping is how you will be called to a meeting room. It’s done very quietly and as early in the day as possible so those impacted are gone before everyone starts showing up to work.

The last time around for people in our group our VP just pinged people on Teams the day of asking to talk. My guess is this is how it is handled in most cases. Scheduling a meeting in advance would tip people off they are at risk. Not the best way to handle things. Also not good to place the VP in this situation.

Lol ... That is what status collectors do. Have pointless meetings.
