There is always a layoff wave sweeping through Qualcomm becuase there are known lifers that need to be pruned off.
Maybe there are layoffs. Maybe there aren't. Maybe you'll get promoted for the hard work you put in. Maybe you won't. Maybe someone will take credit for you work. Maybe they won't.
