Some teams may be impacted more than others. However, remember that in a stagnant pond, it is the sc-m that is the most difficult one to get rid of. The uber expensive status collectors and status presenters have already made their case to exec management that they need to stay and the lower titles (the real work force) is dispensable. Their logic is that once Q returns on growth path, they will be needed to hire and mentor the new employees into the "Qualcomm Way". This has always been the tried and tested method by which the status collectors have maintained their iron grip, made parallel side gigs and investments and are now wealthy beyond their talent and capability. And, yes, I am bitter coz I was not one of them :)

It will happen on 11th. Impact is more in SD. It won’t be 20-30%, more like under 15% overall in SD. Approx 1800 to 2200. All teams are impacted.
