Thread regarding Dish Network layoffs

Mike Kelly is a bumbling id--t!

Can we PLEASE get a more inspirational leader, Mike is like a wet blanket. All the marketing videos in the world cannot make the retail wireless team excited for Q4. We need a whole new leadership team. In Mike’s words, we’re ready for Q4 in the dumpster! #icantmakethisshitup

What could be Mr. Kelly sales pitch? Fastest network, nope, it is T-mob; most reliable, nope it is VZ; service availability, nope it is AT&T. Maybe pitch from Dish C-suite -extended version- " Dish built a network that no other operator has ….. nor AT&T, VZ..... nor Afghanistan,...... China.... Vietnam... nor even North Korea; Dish Network reliability is not 1, or 2 , or ..... 8; Dish has the only 9-FIVES network!!

Seriously, what's to be excited about? Dish is running Boost Mobile into the ground as customers continue to head for the exit in mass. At the same time, Dish is ushering 150+ experienced Boost employees out the door following another round of layoffs.

Dish doesn't have the ability to invest in Marketing & Sales, the wireless Product itself is inferior (including the underlying network service) and the competition is intense.

If I was a Boost retailer I'd be looking at options to exit. Boost Mobile employee should be doing the same as you'll get burned in the end sticking around.

Bottom line message is prepare for more layoffs as Dish's fortunes continue to plummet!

All of Dish's Senior Leaders are terrible. I think Charlie Ergen really just wants "Yes Men" to do his bidding and nothing more.

That said it doesn't seem like Mike K. has a particularly good track record anywhere he's worked and doesn't have the personality of soft skills to connect with his team.
