Thread regarding Texas Children's Hospital layoffs

I think people should hear this. I remember 3 years ago TCH decided to gift everyone a "thank you" bonus because of COVID-19. This made the media and TCH look good. About 2 or 3 weeks later TCH started to cut employees' hours and force them to either work the labor pool or use their PTO. There was no transparency to anyone about what was going on. People didn't have the option to take it unpaid they were forced to use PTO until it was depleted. Around July - December or so TCH started laying people off due to "restructuring" TCH laid the same people off they took PTO from. I think people need to hear this because although TCH has an awesome reputation. They really don't care about their employees. The truth came out later: TCH layoffs were because of the new Austin project... they didn't want to delay the opening so they let go of a lot of employees.
