This info credible insider insights over past 3 decades, recently separated now.

Last CPM action was around 10-15% ended Sept 15, 2023. more to come as earning struggle with poor product/fab process execution and yield +3%.

HR is desperate and employing legally questionable practices to do at will separation and targeting job roles, policies, rules to circumvent age/wage discrimination. Calling whistle blowers.

Intel idm2 strategy passing grade is generous. Looking like waving white flag with more shedding, all recent acquisitions last 5-10yrs bad decision at lost to shareholders - PSG, watch next network (virtualization strategy rejected by comms).

The "foundry" win https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/newsroom/news/intel-july-2022-announce.html#gs.6mb09l is PR stunt, won't dent bottom line.

The two primary businesses datacenter and pc is still projected +70% of capacity through 2030, that's generous, with they will introduce 18A 2024-26 product lines, ~14-16A in +2028-30.

The long game to leverage geo-political support/financial is extremely risky with tight coupling state of global geo-politics; where gov. fund status? Bad for investors. Intel is paying for sins of past and committing more with questionable employment practices that will come home to roost in the culture and people still around.

Looks like a good move. Diversity hire is diverted to run her own little show. I bet Larry gives his blessings.

Alles gut.

Pat getting rid of her this way vs firing her. Now she can only impact the Altera 3B in revenue now vs DCAI!

By the way intel on the way to becoming a 40B company again.

It also means she won't be the CEO of Intel.

For those who value titles she’s CEO now never mind if the parent company or the spin off is hobbled by their own actions
