Thread regarding Allscripts layoffs

Ship is sinking

This place is tanking. Leadership isn’t trustworthy. Failure to enhance products besides Practice Fusion. Zero respect for employees- we are all just numbers. No discussion of the audit. It’s a joke.

Previously, they had to borrow $$ for 3 straight yrs to pay employees and line their own pockets. Over inflated numbers to sell of sinking applications, all to get caught with their hands in the cookie jar. Now employees are waiting now (Oct) to receive their full q4 2022 bonuses. Not to count q1/2/3 of 2023. You cant make this up

Sadly, I am not new. Just a su---r that stayed around too long. I am leaving so angry with the worst leadership I have seen in my 10 + years.

You must be new. ;)

This has been the modus operandi for... well, just about forever. Leadership (under Eclipsys, McKesson, Allscripts, Altera, and all of the various acquisitions) has been unfailingly incompetent and diligently corrupt. "Leadership" dismantled any semblance of a viable Software Development organization, mostly by getting rid of experienced and knowledgeable developers and replacing those resources with "fresh out of basic tech school" offshore employees whose coding skills consist of Googling things and copying code out of GitHub or Pastebin. It's been a systemic pogrom for over a decade now. How can any rational person think that this is acceptable for a SOFTWARE COMPANY?

Leadership's only interest is lining their own pockets and avoiding jail time for fraud and malfeasance.
