What if RSUs vest during the notice period?

They absolutely vest during the notice period.

I have RSUs vesting on Dec 1, i'm hopeful that we get a 60 day notice so that mine will vest during that time. Of course, 60 day notice isn't guaranteed but Betsy did mention that she expects all employees to still be on Payroll Nov 1 which struck me as odd. The only explanation for that is that there is some kind of notice period and it's not an immediate layoff on Oct 30.

Half will be converted to cash, half will be converted to BC shares, and half will be converted to Class C VMware shares which will have a marginal fractional value for the holding period not to be exceeded by 9 years, just as it says in the FAQ.

They will transition to BC rsu and vest according to the existing terms and schedule of the vmware plan.

You will still be an employee. Hence be eligible unless you’re terminated for cause.

Almost the exact response I was expecting but thought maybe you would take it one step further and actually answer the question to show your superior intellect and hunting / pecking skills. I bet you are fun at parties.

So why haven't you answered then ?

JFC, TLO is as bad as Slack. The exact same question repeatedly being asked even though it's in the FAQ.

They will be vested if you are in BC's payroll.

Read the FAQ on Source or the company Slack channel!!! This has been answered there multiple times. Or instead you could ask a bunch of random anonymous people on the internet who of course you’ll quote to the company if their answers differ later…….

I heard that they do not vest during the transition if you are in that bucket. I am sure this has been addressed and/or is on Slack but give zero SH!ts.

You are still an employee during notice so you will get them.
