Over the last couple of months the new VP of Enterprise left, seems they have closed the door on security products as the person I used to work with left and now partners managers who I have known for years are announcing they are leaving on LinkedIn. As a partner of Juniper we are growing concerned. We get the reassurance from those we talk too that all is ok but we are starting to wonder as something is not adding up. Does anyone else share my concerns?

At least Juniper has officially announced 440 redundancies. Cisco started a sneaky stealth layoff with undisclosed number of employees the very next day that Juniper did its layoffs. That's the third layoff cycle from Cisco this year: Jan-Feb, July-August and now October with another one to come in November. HP and HPE are in serial layoff phases. The entire networking industry, with the exception of Arista, is getting hit by layoffs, bad acquisitions, lack of innovations (Cisco) and poor management.
As a partner we are shifting direction after reading this and the other postings on this site. Really sad state but our customers are now pushing back as they don't see Juniper as a long term player.
To me, and my leadership, the question I posed was answered in the last 72 hours. We had a meeting yesterday and beyond Mist we are moving all customer quotes to other vendors.
Yes this is healthy house cleaning. Long overdue since the pandemic bo-m (and subsequent bust).
Your intuition is correct, nothing is what it seems…
October is house cleaning by all the vendors. Not to worry
