Thread regarding State Street Corp. layoffs

Employees at ss are brilliant and have way more power than you think

You are the heart and soul of a company. You are the ones making it run. Meaning; if you are not happy- the company should not be happy.

Start taking back your control.

It will fall.

I thought Indian H1B workers taking over our jobs was just a myth. When I was working at the old SFC building, I normally ate lunch at my desk and continued working (our team was reduced so I had to keep up with work). Well, one day I stopped by the cafeteria and was shocked to see it was filled to the brim with Indian H1B workers! They are definitely not Indian-American workers that were born or raised in the US.

From that day forward, I despised State Street execs and saw them as nothing but a bunch of greedy crooks. These execs take advantage of their position to cause as much damage as possible to collect their fat bonuses. They do not care about the long-term impact of their decisions. When things turn south, they can afford early retirement or find a new company to ruin.

That is 100% not true.

While there has been an uptick of Middle Eastern born staff working in the U.S., there is 0% India cuisine being served in with the John Adams or Channel Center cafes.

I remember going back to SST to have lunch with the few few remaining people I know.
Yikes all I saw in the departments was 90% staffed by people from India.

Went to the cafeteria and all I saw was 90% Indian staff

90% of the food selection in the caf was Indian food

It would be a much more viable statement if saying that SST management has far more power that you think. SST employee have been one of the worst mistreated in salary, bonus, work environment and culture, layoff and termination .... SST employee have been taking all the suffers pretty much silently due to the power of the management.

How many staffs are in the India State Street office now? When I started training them back then, they only had 10 staffs.
