Has anyone ever wondered if one of the reasons they fired people was because of a disability? I know 3 ICs who were fired who had filed for disability at some point, myself included.

As much as this su-ks, restructuring is a part of business. At the end of the day everyone is a free agent and we should at least find solace in that.
One person who was laid off was about to go on maternity leave.
And, in response to the post @ disability, joint discussions with a law firm specifically about that could be insightful.
Why the layoff? Because 2U and edX (the 2U version) turned out a product that was not worth its value to those who bought it.
