If you think the morale in the field and at corporate is bad now just wait until they announce no bonuses this year. The mass exodus will start after that and if they think staffing stores are hard now wait until that happens. Pessina is going to sc--w everyone over and the RVPs,DPRs, and DMs are going to start making more demands than ever before. This is company is hurting for cash and they will sc--w everyone over before they try to not pay dividends to shareholders

They already announced no merit increases or bonus for corporate employees two weeks ago. It’s insulting to have the grunt workers continue to take on more and more work and to be told we now have to return back to the office! They sold the main building!!!!! Where do they expect people to fit? Parking? All right in time for the holiday Covid surge with thanksgiving and Christmas. This company doesn’t give a S**T about the employees, never has. They hide behind their surveys and when the results come back every single year there is a meeting and it’s turned to the employees to fix it. Wake up - the survey is a reflection of the company YOU fix it. What is most insulting is you can’t give the grunt workers a half way decent merit increase when you do give them out! 1.5% year after year doesn’t even meet the cost of living when open enrollment insurance plans are constantly changing. But…..we have millions to give to a CEO who tanked this company and millions more to the interim CEO plus she’s making $875K PER MONTH???? Really??? Bogus! How about invest back and use those funds to not continue to pi-s off your employees??? Complete slap to our faces that they have this kind of money for these people. Shocked that there aren’t more comments on this site from outraged employees.
Dig a little deeper, pull together as a team, everyone is doing more, we are all in it together to make Walgreens the best it can be.
