Intel stock is doing well

How? Can somebody please explain to me how is our stock still holding up decently despite everything?

Intel still has value locked up. If you think of Intel as one company making one chip, then all the rest could be sold.

Finally they end up with one company competing against AMD and the other competing against TSMC with government support.

I thought my man was doing well, until I got a chance to see what other guys could do.

Stocks doing exceptionally bad (like Intel’s) play by different rules. In 2021 the stock was over 60, so in the long run the stock is doing terribly. Google terms like “dead cat bounce” to get an idea.

tl/dr - Intel is doing so poorly that bad news doesn’t seem bad by comparison
