BP tells staff top US executive is leaving just weeks after CEO exit

BP’s top executive in the US is leaving the company, the oil giant told staff on Friday just weeks after the resignation of the company’s global chief executive Bernard Looney.

Dave Lawler, who has served as chair and president of BP America since July 2020, is leaving the company to pursue other interests, according to an internal memo sent to employees on Friday.

MA has ba--s to come to Astros-town to do a townhall next week. Will he answer any questions directly or dodge them like bullets. The 5 minute video call the day after Looney Tunes resigned looked like a prison ransom video. Helge looked like he didn't sleep all night, MA and KD were reading from script. Their message was "follow the strategy"......very convincing

This is not new but why are they doing it now? What’s prompted the action while nothing had been done before?

It’s not only reverse discrimination - the people being promoted are being manipulated too. The whole situation is disgusting

The reverse discrimination practices are eye watering and prevalent throughout the whole organization.
