The sale of IGT Playdigital will be announced in March 2024 , even here in Europe those who unfortunately work for Playdigital have been faced with the choice of signing with the new company that will be incorporated into the sale or being fired with no money.
HR also said that where there are few people working for Playdigital they will be transferred to other countries with larger offices

Not fair! Sr. Leaders messed up 2024 and future sales will be down by a lot. Layoffs are happening now, especially in PlayDigital. They are trying to keep in quiet. Sr Leaders should be layed off not the workers who make things happen.
One of the posts indicates that PlayDigital is one of the divisions they are trying to sell. Any information about other divisions?

Well it is Feb 2024 and we just had another round of layoffs in the PlayDigital division which is one of the divisions they are trying to sell. Company is not even looking to grow this division at this point. It is all about barely maintaining the division in hopes of selling it.
X is almost correct. The only thing wrong is the buyer is one of the potential buyers from last year. Negotiations just took longer than expected.
X is full of sh-t in case anyone doesn't already know this. You don't find a new buyer, and sign a deal for a multi-billion dollar company in a 5 day period.
New buyer found. Sale date will be end of Feb/Early March 2024.

I’m guessing this is why no one has received a raise yet. IGT will continue to lose people, especially if the future for the company look uncertain. It’s hard for them to retain quality people already.
Announcement delayed due to details being ironed out. Expect updates in 2 to 4 months.
There is no news. There will be no press release today. It's possible that a sale will eventually happen, but if it does, it will be months away before the process starts, if not longer. Billion dollar companies aren't sold overnight.

Anyone have a credible source that IGT was sold? Any idea on who will get seperation notices? IGT always does layoffs right after G2E. It's in their blood.

I agree. I heard rumors that IGT may be selling its gaming division, but can’t find any credible source to say that it had been sold.
