Looking at LinkedIn, there seem to be a lot of postings for “university new hires.” That’s gotta make you scratch your head, right? They are attempting to replace experienced, higher salary employees, with lower cost employees. Literally younger people are all around cheaper for the company…. think about the cost to cover a younger person on insurance vs. someone in their 40/50/60’s…… hmmmm. Also lower bonus payout percent, etc. If that doesn’t make you question ethics and integrity, what does?

How about we don’t bash other generations? We need young people to carry the torch when others retire. And we need experienced people to teach others how things work. I know I learned heat transfer in school, but not how a heater works. I’m grateful to the older people who shared their knowledge when I was young and I’m still resentful of those who were a--holes. My goal is not to be like them.
If you’re a young person and don’t want to be called out for not knowing as much as you think you do, don’t call experienced employees dinosaurs mired in the past.

I'm not sure if it's nefarious as all that. Experienced hires just... aren't applying to open positions. And can you blame them with the way P66 is behaving these days?
They hire these new graduates who stick around long enough to gain experience and they then leave for greener pastures.
It doesn’t help matters when they see experienced employees laid off for no reason other than the CEO has some half assed pipe dream that is an utter nightmare for the rest of us.
I think those university new hire roles are fugazi. With the offshoring to India, we won’t be hiring finance and IT students off the campus.
