Are H1Bs about to lose their jobs due to several failed products? Of course, the full-time employees who are from USA (citizens) will lose their jobs first, I'm sure since they don't have to pack up and leave.

Hmm, what was the status of the people who sank the boat in the first place?
they check status, which protected group, and whose butt they are kissing
ability/merit is a thing of the past

"legal departments usually triple check the lists for a gender/age/ethnicity mix way before the announcement is made, that way no group can sue them for discrimination."
oh, is that why they give out severance packages
no one has the money to sue apple or the political clout and we all know it
No; during layoffs, H1Bs always get to keep their jobs; and it’s not just at Apple but for all companies

Visa holders should go first (they won't, but they should).
When layoffs happen there are no “safe groups”, anyone can get booted regardless of his citizenship and here is why (and is how it usually works in almost every company): legal departments usually triple check the lists for a gender/age/ethnicity mix way before the announcement is made, that way no group can sue them for discrimination.
