Aviation department. CA won’t give up his cushy plane and has a two new ones being delivered.
The two orgs OP mentioned are probably the least safe teams for next week's on slaught. if modem will take a 20% cut, no teams are safe.
Managers would give you clarity on October 11.
If you survived the May-round of layoffs, you should be fine I think. UNLESS, the projects the team is working on, got the axe or the team leadership is plain stupid. That said, we should all press our managers to give some clarity whether we will be impacted or not.
