Over the years I saw so many hard working engineers were laid off but Q realtors who post ads in Q mail list are still there, bringing clients to house watching during working hours. Can anyone explain what was going on?

Very clear that the moment RE market blips a sign of life, you will focus on real estate market and not on workbat Q. This is the best time to show you a way back to real estate work to rest before getting busy.

Is this thing about realtors a meme just like the thing about 'status collectors'? I can't see how someone can be a FTE at Q and be a realtor at the same time
This is one of the side gigs of statues collectors. They protect their own at all cost. Hence more junior engineers will be laid off.
This is what happens with WFH. Few bad apples ruin it for everybody.
Qualcomm real estate department reports to head of HR Heather Ace right? She is the one protecting. In fact, she needs to be fired for being an incompetent CHRO. Ever since she took the role, the company’s HR team has been doing terrible with tons of turnovers. It’s a big mess in the HR dept.
