Heard though the grapevine that fiber Claremont is going to catawba. UTP is going to Mexico. And the doors are going to shut down in Claremont, thing is I'm not sure where
corporate is going since they all moved to Claremont. Oh they just remodeled the front office so the higher ups can have a new break room and barista. But this could all be just rumors to feed the fire.

Luckily I’m ready to retire anyway. I feel for the folks that have to ride it out though. Dam shame the company is going downhill. Use to be, many years ago, a place you could at least be kinda proud to work for. Seems to be being ran by id--ts the last several years. But they’ll still make their money so maybe that’s all there after.
Last week we were told do not ask if we are working all week anymore. Was told that's why we had a layoff. We got 1 full paycheck since March and now shutting down tomorrow. Why not go back to Mon -Thu and at least save the ones that have given there entire adult life to make a career here. So many people making poor decisions that have been here a short time, just because they have a college degree.
Not to mention the office people affairs happening. People seen leaving the office area together everyday. I wonder what's up with that?
Was told today have no business so yes fiber is not picking up it’s bad. But Clermont is I’m pretty sure closing and coming to Catawba. The people that is left.
I call BS on this. If y'all paid attention to the documents from one of the recent earnings reports, cable group was the top earning segment of the company. Ruckus and Network solutions were bleeding the company, that's why they're selling them off.
A few years ago they were packing up UTP and sending it to Catawba so they could expand fiber upstairs. Rumors are exactly what they are, just rumors
I've heard this as well. They'd have to make a lot of room for the fiber capacity that Claremont has. I hope it's not true. I left Catawba for Claremont for a reason and it's not just because it's closer.
I’m not suprised. I’m Working at Catawba & I heard we will be getting the people left over from Claremont and that the building for Claremont will be used as a warehouse, but that’s just what I’ve heard from multiple sources.
