Thread regarding Masonite International Corp. layoffs

Masonite located in iowa did a very shady lay off/ termination. They way they treated their employees and handled the lay off was one of the most disrespectful lay offs u ever heard of. They came in like a dr-g raid even with police presence taking people one by one telling them they are now terminated here is a severance offer your no longer welcome back on the property. The employees were totally treated like criminals. However a month prior the employees were told that all their jobs were safe and they could breath. Then with no warning the place was swarmed by people in higher positions walking people one by one out the door. While working there employees were treated with little to no respect and told they needed to earn it. Blaming workers for everything that went wrong with the doors even tho a majority were never trained properly and if you brought anything of concern to their attention or stuck up for yourself when wrongfully accused of not doing your job properly you were labeled a finger pointer or trouble maker. They gave points when it was management not doing anything when reporting time clock not working. When someone would do a good job others would sabatoge their work to start making them look bad. I would never work for a co.pny like that again and work hard to make someone else rich who has disrespectful management and says their employees need to earn being appreciated.
