Take A look at story in North platte news . Several high up Fra people met with craft workers who told them all about safety problems , shortcuts taken in maintenance etc, at Up yards. Guess thats why no more bragging about N. Platte safety leaders now on crew room tv.

Has anyone heard about abolishing all jobs at the North Platte shop, reposting jobs and have to rebid, getting rid of weekend jobs and going bare minimum on 3rd shift?
Where is the loud mouth NP guy? Best in the bizz huh haha what a joke. See what happens when your constantly running your trap about how NP is better than the rest of the shops. FRA shows up to clear your eyes so you can see reality. Now you just look d-mb.
What's wrong with unions these days is that many of them don't stand up for their members. It has nothing to do with a specific location. The North Platte guy got on here and bragged continuously about how good North Platte was until the FRA showed up. I guess that person didn't realize how bad North Platte really was. The reality is that many outside of North Platte knew how bad it was. The ones on the inside only saw the good. The bigger picture can only be seen from a distance. NO ONE wants to see anyone get sent home, so thank you for only mentioning NP as the only ones that care. You may not bashing other employees, but don't make yourself believe that NP is the only one that cares if people lose their jobs. If what's posted on here bothers you so badly, then I'd recommend that you not read the comments here. It's very unlikely the comments are going to get any better anytime soon.
99 percent of the NP guys don’t want to see anyone anywhere get sent home. Sure as he-l don’t sh-t talk all the other shops on a public forum, for the world to read. Want to know what is wrong with unions these days. It’s sh-t like this, backstabbing another employee, shift, shop just to like your the best. Company thrives on this.
Work that was previously completed in the service track by three crafts with a crew of 10 people is now completed by 3 people if you’re lucky. Some small shops are doing it with 2. Now tell me if the work is getting done by FRA standards?
